Kulter. organised art routes in the Bos en Lommer area in West Amsterdam in 2011 & 2012.

On the menu: open studio’s & exhibition spaces, site-specific & commissioned art, music & words, even cooking & drinking - or the Kulter. receipt beyond the gallery walls! The amount and quality of artists and collectives that have settled in Bos en Lommer since 2009 - when Kulter. moved in - is huge and diverse. An ideal playground to experiment around the idea of art routes.: guided tours, chance to win an art work by buying & collecting “Like” stickers at participating spaces, participation of no-professional artists, offices, bar/restaurants, etc.

Kulter. is thankful to the West Amsterdam District Council & to the Amsterdam Art Funds - the major financial contributors to bolo-k - for allowing Bolo-k to start. Additional funding included local sponsors, participating fees & income from selling art/drinks/food. We are also very thankful to the volunteers who helped us out with promotion, redaction, production and documentation.

In 2013, no art routes but a bring your own/do it yourself Bliksemeditie in the Sint Joseph Church. Visitors are invited to bring their own comfort and ito donate directly to the organizing team and participating artists.


In April 2014, art routes again, as far as it can again within a self-sustainable model. To be followed.
